When I met Dejana I was a second-year student "Social Pedagogic Work" at the "Hogeschool van Amsterdam". I had to do an 8-hour per week internship. Now I’m in my third year and no longer with Deja. I do miss her, but I have a lot of happy memories. For example we went to the "Belevenis", which means "Experience" on the second of November in 2006. This was a great experience for me and for Dejana. There where different worlds with different things to see. There was a jungle world, an under water world, an oriėnt world and an air world. There were not only things to see but also to hear and to feel. Dejana enjoyed the waterbed and the little lights very much. I found it funny to see her, looking at things, feeling things and enjoying them. After the lunch, which Deja also enjoyed as usual. We went to the theater with dolls and strange music. This was a part Deja did not like very much. We also went to the "Rett-day" , where we could meet other girls with Rett. This was also a special day. This day I had the honor to swim with Deja. Swimming is a thing she likes to do and we had a lot of fun playing with the ball in the water. We kept throwing the ball over and over again. Besides doing funny things we worked hard on her exercises. I made a book of the Teletubbies for Dejana, so she could practice her "tweezergrip". When I made the book, I was very curious if she would like it and if it worked. Happily she liked it and she was able to switch the pages with her thumb and appendix finger.
